How to Convert a Task to a Subtask (and Vice Versa)

You can easily reorganize your work by converting tasks into subtasks and subtasks into main tasks. Here’s how:

Convert a Main Task into a Subtask

Right-click on the task you want to convert

Select “Convert to subtask”

In the pop-up, choose the task that will become the parent task

Click Confirm

Please note: The task cannot have existing subtasks in order to be converted into a subtask.

Hover over the subtask

Click the three dots (⋯) menu

Select “Convert to task”
